Hill T.O.P. (Tupelo Outreach Program)
What is Hill T.O.P.?
Hill T.O.P. (Tupelo Outreach Project) is an annual outreach ministry designed to give youth an opportunity to help their neighbors in need who are physically or financially limited. Hill T.O.P. was established in 1995 with the belief that mission work should begin at home. It is represented by over 35 churches and groups and is multi-denominational and interracial, crossing many community barriers.
Hill T.O.P.'s mission is to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, and social needs of the people of Tupelo and Lee County. Our goal is to build Christian community within our youth and community through service to others. Missions should not be just a hand-out, but to provide a hand. With Hill T.O.P.'s formation, our intention is to reach out and provide a hand in a mission retreat environment working together toward a common goal. .....
Hill T.O.P. is not just a youth project, but rather a mission for the entire community through it's support of the youth. The support comes from church congregations, community organizations, and individuals, which are essential to the success of Hill T.O.P. This support is possible in a variety of ways: prayers, site evaluations, material procurements, work site team leaders, preparing meals, baking desserts, providing homes for showers, transportation, evening programing, warehouse coordination, Kids T.O.P., monitory support and donations of building materials.
