Mexico Mission Trip

The Mexico Mission Trip is an opportunity for the members of our church, young and old alike, to assist others not as fortunate as ourselves in building suitable housing while being strengthened in their own faith. A group of volunteers travel each May to Reynosa, Mexico and participate in a week they won't soon forget!

The accomodations in Mexico are modest at most. which enhances our cross cutural service opportunity. While living in close community with one another, helping prepare meals and keeping our facility clean, we will also work in partnership with the Mexican people in construction of a house. Tasks include bending wire, shoveling and mixing cement, digging ditches, and more. After a hard days work and a good dinner our evenings are spent playing cards, listening to guitar, relaxing and visiting. There is ample opportunity to visit a local Mexican market, tour the neighborhood, and gain a rare perspective of a culture different than our own.
