For the Summer, please remember Sunday School will begin at 9:00 a.m. and Worship at 10:00 a.m.

Habitat for Humanity

1410 Boggan Drive is the address of the home presently being worked on for Habitat for Humanity.  Be sure to come and assist on Wednesday, June 11 and/or Saturday, June 14.

Either a couple of hours or the entire day, your help would be appreciated!  Contact the church office or Bill Dickson for more information!

An Information table will be set up in the breezeway in early May with Registration beginning Sunday, May 18. Stop by and learn more about a great week of fellowship, Bible study, outreach, and fun!

Expressions of Faith: Arts Camp 2008

Expressions of Faith, our very first Arts Camp, is scheduled for July 21-25, 9:00 a.m.12:00 noon. This brand new summer program will provide children the opportunity to explore and express their faith through the arts. Particularly exciting is the focus on outreach into community as we invite children from the neighborhood to join the children of First Presbyterian to express their faith through the arts.

Parents’ Night Out

We will have a Parents’ Night Out on Friday, June 13, 6:30 – 10:00 p.m. Supper at Jeff and Mitzi Moore’s house. Jeff and Mitzi will supply the burgers and chicken; participants are asked to bring a side dish for this pot luck style supper.  Child care will be provided at the church.  Forrest and the Youth will provide activities for the children. There is a sign- up sheet on the bulletin board. Donations will be welcomed to help support the Mexico Mission trip and Montreat.

Mexico Mission Trip
Saturday morning, May 31st, twenty-six youth and adult headed out for Miguel Aleman, Mexico for the the annual Mexico Mission  trip to construct housing.  Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they travel and touch the lives of our friends in Mexico.  We'll hear all about their experiences on Wednesday, June 18th as they will present  our Wednesday Night programs
