Worship is of primary importance in the life of First Presbyterian Church and takes many forms during the year. But at all times the focus of worship is the love of God as seen in the person of Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit.
Sunday Morning Worship Two worship services are available on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary, are open to all who wish to attend. A children's sermon is offered at both services. Our Chancel choir sings most Sundays at 11:00.
On the first Sunday of each month the sacrament of communion is included in worship. Communion in the Presbyterian Church is open to all baptized Christians regardless of denominational affiliation. Once a year members of the youth group participate in Youth Sunday, and at other times worship may involve special music or other activities.
Coffee is served in Fellowship Hall and Breezeway prior to each each service for fellowship and enjoyment.
Wednesday Evening Worship On Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. there is an informal fellowship dinner and program held in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone is invited to participate.
Special Worship Services During the year there are special services of worship which celebrate significant seasons of the Christian calendar.
